2. Minutes from the last meeting was presented and approved.
3. Treasures report was submitted and approved.
4. Discussion on the Husband & Wife tournament was tabled until the next meeting.
5. Discussion on the Grudge tournament was tabled until the next meeting.
6. It was announced that the Red Cross tournament will be held on May 28th 2011 pending approval from Bayside Marina.
7. Nominations for Club Officers will be take at next months meeting. Pat Seigh announced that he would like to keep the Treasure position. Secretary, Mike Wilmar announced that he does not want to be secretary next year.
8. Kids Day at the Hatchery will be held on 9 Oct 2010. This will require club members who are not fishing the Federation Tournament on that day to cover the requirements for the club.
9. Gary Sawyer reported that the next Youth Club meeting is 14 Sept and that the last tournament for the year will be held on 14 Sept 2010 at Cole's Pond with awards, food & drinks after the tournament. All club members are encouraged to attend.
10. Buck Buchanan reported that the work on the 2010 Open tournament to benifit the Albemarle Food Bank is well underway and that the club owes Frank Gunia a big thank you for his hard work in the past few weeks. Frank has been able to bring in many new banner sales, raffle items and has secured the Lunker and Mystery Fish monies.
11. It was announced that the Nixiton Ruritan Club will be holding a pancake breakfast on 11 Sept 2010 from 7:00 - 10:30 AM.
12. It was announced that the Nixiton Ruritan Club will be conducting a Fish Fry on October 8, 2010 at Dog Corner from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. See any Ruritan club member to purchase tickets, $7.00 each.
